The band has been performing in the North Wales area for the last 10 years playing covers and original material. They take their influence from bands including The Jam. The Who, Foo Fighters, Oasis and The Police to name a few. We welcome them back again to headline Saturday night.

Skariad are a 9 piece Ska band with a little twist of soul.  Formed in 2013, and their second visit to Graig Aid, this year headlining Friday night, prepare to stomp !!

The Alibis.

The Alibis are a four piece line up of local boys based in Ruthin.  we use the term “boys” loosely…

They are popular members of the local music scene who love to play songs you’d forgotten you loved from the 60’s to the present day, and also enjoy getting their audiences up dancing with a smile on their faces.

Described as “powerful and original” their feedback is “The Alibis really know how to get the party started” and “get the beers in ‘cos you aren’t going anywhere while these guys are playing” their set is described as “a refreshing change from the songs you normally hear bands cover”.

Fortune Sellers.

Fortune Sellers are a four piece party covers band from North east Wales, with a huge range of music in their set from the 1950’s to present, Fortune Sellers are the band to get the party going.

Martyn Peters.

Martyn and his band making another welcome visit to the festival, this year performing many original songs from his new album “Veins”.

Sidewinder is a local rock cover band formed early 2014. Their influences range from classic rock to modern hard rock; Thin Lizzy and Greenday, through ACDC and The Cult, to the Foo Fighters and Metallica. Their gig setlists cover all those well-known tracks from decades of rock, that everyone knows and loves to sing along to. We welcome them back following their highly successful Graig Aid headline slot last year.

Record Street.

This Ruthin based band grew out of the chance encounters of four very different people. Original songwriting is fused with driven rhythms and retro influences to produce a sound which refuses to be pigeonholed.

Mad Haven.received_10153115802663826

Mad Haven are a 3 piece rock band from N.Wales formed 5 years ago when Tom (singer/guitarist) was just 10 and Alex and Aidi were 11. The lads  play mainly original material with some covers by favourites such as AC/DC. They have supported various acts locally, including Bonafide from Sweden and most recently the Amorettes, a three piece Scottish rock band, who themselves recently supported Europe and The Black Star Riders. The band have recorded several CD’s and have a full calendar of dates over the summer period.

Y Trwbz.

Bilingual rock, blues and soul band from North Wales. Welsh language album on its way.

Y Porthmyn.

Y Porthmyn, or Cor Y Drovers, Rhewl, was started by local musician and entertainer, Bov. Bov is a naturally talented musician famous for this “sing along” evenings at various venues in North Wales. In January, 2011, he gathered a group of villagers and friends together for a fund raising evening – for one night only. Little did he think what he had started !          Singing can be thirsty work, the choir have been known to drink pubs dry following gigs, as they attempted to do with our bar last year !

Elfin Bow.

Elfin Bow music has been described as a fairytale experience for grown ups; pastoral psych-folk with an undercurrent of electronic ambience. A storyteller of the finest kind, with a voice that is as vulnerable as it is strong, she weaves together art and music in a way that is truly captivating. Graig Aid extends a very warm welcome to Elizabeth, ( Elfin Bow ) now a local resident, in her first visit to our festival, in which she will be performing songs from her new abum.

Mandola Hangover.

Mandola Hangover are an original four piece band from Wrexham playing an electric acoustic fusion of thought provoking songs. The band formed in 2013 and have performed numerous times at venues and festivals around North Wales and across the border. Last year the band released their third EP, they continue to write original material for their shows and have many more shows lined up for this summer.

Clwydian Rangers.

We’re a recently formed band; hailing from the picturesque town of Ruthin, in the heart of North Wales. As friends with a shared passion for music; we decided to walk the walk and start jamming together. Our influences range (pardon the pun) from rock, to country, blues, folk and soul. We seek to draw from these influences, whilst aiming to create a sound of our own. We hope you enjoy our music, and we welcome opportunities to perform live.
